A Realm Reborn Zodiac Weapons

Paladins have a shield and sword Relic Weapon.

The Weaponsmith of Legend – Nedrick Ironheart at Vesper Bay, Western Thanalan (12.0, 14.3)

The quest chain begins for the first time with Nedrick Ironheart at Vesper Bay, Western Thanalan (12.0, 14.3).  

• • Speak with Rowena at Revenant’s Toll
  • Show the promise of payment to Gerolt

A Relic Reborn – Gerolt at North Shroud (30.2, 20.2) (Relic Weapons – ilvl 80)

• Locate the broken quest weapon from the Beastmen Strongholds.  

• Report back to Gerolt again. 
• Purchase or craft the class weapon, and double-meld it with 2 specific Grade III Materias.  

• Defeat Dhorme Chimera and obtain Alumina Salts in the trial A Relic Reborn: The Chimera.The entrance is located in Coerthas Central Highlands (32, 6).
• Report back to Gerolt. 
• Gerolt will send you to Rowena in Revenant’s Toll.  
• Rowena will send you to Amdapor Keep as your chosen job, and you will receive Amdapor Glyph upon completing and exiting the dungeon. 
• Bring the glyph to Rowena who gives you a book.
• Bring the book to Gerolt.
• Receive relic weapon although unfinished. Equip the weapon as your chosen job and defeat 24 specific beastmen in their respective strongholds:

• Defeat Hydra in the trial A Relic Reborn: The Hydra.  The entrance is located in Eastern Thanalan (14, 30).
• Defeat Ifrit and obtain White-Hot Ember in the trial The Bowl of Embers (HARD).
• Defeat Garuda and obtain Howling Gale in the trial The Howling Eye (HARD). 
• Defeat Titan and obtain Hyperfused Ore in the trial The Navel (HARD).
• Report back to Gerolt.  He will then need Radz-at-Han Quenching Oil purchased with 15 Allagan Tomestones of Poetics from Auriana in Mor Dhona.  Gerolt will give you a completed Relic Weapon. 

Zenith Weapons – (ilvl 90)

• Purchase 3 Thavnairian Mist – Auriana in Revenant’s Toll, Mor Dhona (22, 6) – Cost – 20 Allagan Tomestone of Poetics each (60)
  • • For Paladins only 2 Thavnairian Mists are required for the sword, and 1 Thavnairian Mist is required for the shield.
• Furnace – Hyrstmill, North Shroud (30, 20) and combine the Thavnairian Mists with Relic Weapon

Up in Arms – Gerolt at North Shroud (30.2, 20.2) (Atma Zodiac Weapons – ilvl 100)

• 12 unique crystalline objects called atma are required.  These can only be obtained by equipping a relic weapon zenith and participating in FATES in the following regions:

Trial of the Braves – Jalzahn at North Shroud (30, 19) (Animus Zodiac Weapons – ilvl 100)

• Purchase 9 books from G’jusana in Revenant’s Toll, Mor Dhona (***) – Cost – 100 Allagan Tomestone of Poetics each (900)
  • • For Paladins only 7 books are required for the sword, and 2 books are required for the shield.
    • Each book contains tasks that need to be completed
      • 10 specific monsters to kill
      • 3 dungeons
      • 3 FATEs
      • 3 levequests
    • Once the above tasks are completed, return to G’jusana to buy the next one.

Celestial Radiance – Jalzahn at North Shroud (30, 19) (Novus Zodiac Weapons – ilvl 110)

• Speak with Jalzahn with Animus Zodiac Weapon equipped.
• Speak with Mutamix Bubblypots Central Thanalan (23, 13)
• Speak with Hubairtin Central Thanalan (23, 13)
• Speak with Rowena at Revenant’s Toll (21, 5)
• Purchase 3 bottles of Superior Enchanted Ink from Auriana at Revenant’s Toll (22, 6) – Cost – 25 Allagan Tomestone of Poetics each (75)
• Return to Hubairtin Central Thanalan (23, 13) – reward Sphere Scroll

Star Light, Star Bright – Hubairtin at Central Thanalan (23, 13)

• Speak with Jalzahn.  He will explain that you need to bind a total of 75 materia to complete your Sphere Scroll in order to create your weapon. 
• Alexandrite can be gathered in 3 ways
  • Completing FATEs with a Animus Zodiac Weapon equipped
  • Can be bought from a Hunt Billmaster for 50 Allied Seals.
  • From treasure chests from Mysterious Maps (Auriana in Revenant’s Toll for 75 Allagan Tomestone of Poetics)

• You can only fuse materia of higher grades after completing a previous “tier”, for stats that have a max of 44, a tier is 11 materia, the first 6 in the tier have a 100% chance of melding, followed by a 96% chance, 90% chance, 82% chance, 72% chance, and finally, a 60% chance.
• At the start only level 1 materias can be used. As more of a particular stats / materia are added: the binding success rate decrease until you are forced to use a higher grade / level materia. Unsuccessful bindings will destroy the materia used but never the Alexandrite.
• There is a cap on the maximum points you can put in a secondary stat and depends on your class.
• The scroll can be infused with a maximum of five different secondary stats.
• Your Novus Zodiac Weapon will only have the secondary stats that you put onto it – no secondary stats are transferred across from your Animus Zodiac Weapon. The only exception to this are with the healer’s weapons Omnilex Novus and Thyrus Novus which get +9 Direct Hit Rate regardless.

Skill Caps:

Mmmmmm, Soulglazed Relics – Jalzahn at North Shroud (30, 19) (Nexus Zodiac Weapons – ilvl 115)

• For Paladins soulglaze both the shield and sword before farming “light”.
• With the soulglazed Novus weapon equipped, player will earn “light” by completing dungeons, trials, FATEs, Treasure Hunt, Alexandrite Maps, The Wolves’ Den and Frontlines.
• After gaining enough “light” and returning to Jalzahn (option “Relic Weapon Novus Enhancement”), the Novus weapon will transform into a Nexus weapon.

Zodiac Braves Weapons – (ilvl 125)

Wherefore Art Thou, Zodiac – Jalzahn North Shroud (30, 19) AND One Man’s Trash – Ealdwine North Shroud (29, 19) AND the following:

• A Ponze of Flesh – Papana Mor Dhona (22.9, 7.3)
• Labor of Love – Guiding Star Mor Dhona (21, 6)
• A Treasured Mother – Brangwine Mor Dhona (22.0, 6.7)
• Method in His Malice – Adkin Central Thanalan (23, 13)

His Dark Materia – Gerolt North Shroud (30, 20)

Talk to Jalzahn North Shroud (30, 19) and select Zodiac Weapon Recreation (Process is 100% guaranteed to succeed regardless of what he says!)

COST – will need 400k gil, 80k Company Seals, 800 Allagan Tomestone of Poetics, drops from 16 dungeons, and 8 3-star HQ crafted items.

Zodiac Zeta Weapons – (ilvl 135)

Rise and Shine – Jalzahn North Shroud (30, 19) AND The Vital Title – Jalzahn North Shroud (30, 19)

• Speak with Remon Western La Noscea (34.3, 31.7) to attached first mahatmat using 50 Allagan Tomestone of Poetics.  
• Must have the relic weapon equipped for the last boss of the dungeon or trial to get credit.
• After finishing a Mahatma, you get get the next one from Remon for Allagan 50 Tomestone of Poetics (600 total required).
